So You Think You Can Bet: Who wins SYTYCD in season seven?

“So You Think You Can Dance,” that wacky combination of “American Idol” and “Dancing with the Stars,” is smack dab in the middle of season seven with the first head of the season ready to roll in less than four days.

Does LiveBetsDirect have a SYTYCD proposition bet for you? Sure! Check out bet365’s speak-for-itself “To Win Outright” prop. The table goes like so:

Sorry, Alex, the die may already be cast

Sorry, Alex, the die may already be cast

Kent Boyd: 2/1
Alex Wong: 10/3
Lauren Froderman: 10/3
Billy Bell: 8/1
Robert Roldan: 8/1
Alexie Agdeppa: 11/1
Melinda Sullivan: 12/1
Jose Ruiz: 12/1
Ashley Galvan: 20/1
AdéChiké Torbert: 20/1
Ana “Cristina” Santana: 35/1

The gut reaction here of course is to start thinking about Lauren Froderman. Since the top four has consistently been comprised of two male contestants and two female contestants, reckon Froderman can be penciled in to make the semifinals at least. One the other hand, another odd characteristic of the final standings board is that the fourth-place finish has *always* gone to a woman.

(Geez, there’s no “each way” betting in this at bet365, is there? D’oh!)

Now clearly Lauren’s got the skills, but is she too unorthodox for the voting public of America? LBD is hereby scared off from covering this dancer alone.

Second reaction: Wait a minute! How can Senorita Santana be at 35/1? I mean, a combination of salsa and belly dancing plus the chutzpah to come back to the show after not making the cut for season 6? Injustice, LBD tells ya! I mean, check out her moves (start at about 1:00 into the clip).

O, that’s okay … i’ll let you catch your breath.

Look, LBD was going to go on here, through the candidates, but geez, what more do you need to see than this?

The judge is right: The field better be scared of this guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, fans of proposition bets and “So You Think You Can Dance,” your season seven winner: Bet the farm — so to speak — on Kent Boyd at 2/1. Quick, before the odds plummet (which they will)!
